  22. For several years we have used Kermit very successfully in conjunction
  23. with front-ends that we (and most recently, myself) have written in-house
  24. which build the appropriate Kermit scripts. Thus, we can provide a user
  25. interface which is specifically oriented to our campus' needs - no more
  26. and no less.

  29. that to our users!  ;) ]

  31. Anyway, it is of interest to me if we are going to lose this option of
  32. running Kermit in this manner (from other software).
